As someone who's destiny has been connected with the mental health saga on two continents, I am painfully aware that the theories of what we think we are doing and that which it turns out to be (sometimes) helpful are in an elusive/frustrating relationship. I guess this in line with your framing of 'justification'...

Bonnie, my 11 year old grandson with whom I live along with his parents has had issues with being a highly sensitive person plus its partner sensory processing disorder. Since many in our community are HSPs, it is quite challenging thus far to help him self-regulate and at the same time understand that only 20% of his classmates will be HSPs. It feels as though he will be charged with several challenges during his teen years. Anyone have some thoughts on this?

This may not be the appropriate place to make this request but not sure where else to put it.

Bonnie, would you be able to elaborate more on the notion of "Pro-tension" that you mentioned in yesterday's session? Either in the comments or potentially in an essay where it may fit? It feels like a fundamental concept, especially juxtaposed with other philosophers' work around cosmic value ranking (that's not the term you referenced; I can't remember the exact phrase, but it felt something like that). I'm curious to learn more.
